GoPro 4 vs Go Pro 5 Which is the better model??

Anyone can help me on this? I want to buy a Go Pro as a gift for a friend but i am really confused with all the reviews on it. Go Pro 5 is the latest version but some articles recommend the previous version. Any one out there who can comment on which is better? will appreciate your help!
