Last night I met up with fellow Greek life author Rob Johnson at a lovely sea front taverna in Kalo Nero on the Messinian coast. Rob is on his fourth book while Goat In The Meze is my first. He was very approachable when I bombarded him with a few Amazon publishing questions on Facebook so it was great to actually meet up and shoot the breeze. Just as Mylotters are supportive of each other I've found the same thing when it comes to actual book writing. And as for co-incidences Rob actually shops for his string at Bald Yannis' hardware shop. As we both write humorous stuff we managed a good laugh once the ice was broken. Dinner was fried shrimps and a lovely Greek salad with capers and olives, with the evening temp at a perfect 29C. I always say if the temp could be 29C for 365 days a year I'd be in my element.

Lovely photo Katerina, I am glad you have found a supportive friend. I suspect that your Greek salad was WITHOUT oregano.

. It's very hot here today, 35 C and we do not have the habit.

Most definitely without the dreaded oregano Anna, you have a good memory. Amazing you have the same daytime temps in Switzerland today as we have here, 29C was late evening, it was over 30 already by 9 this morning but there was a nice coastal breeze as I drove to make it bearable.

@thea09 At least it is not humid, there is a little breeze, the nights are not too bad. We are going to have thunderstorms by Sunday.

You look sooo great on this photo - I think you need to change your profile picture and show the world how you have progressed into a WRITER of note. How is Bald Yannis's rash BTW?

I think Anna has a point, even tho' the pic is getting a bit tatty round the edges now. As for the rash - has it gone green yet? There are far worst things to befall Bald Yannis yet.

@LadyDuck Believe me the hassle I have doing anything with photos is such a nightmare I will stick with what I have. It took me ages to fathom out how to turn the pic above as it was sideways on when I was sent it - had to get the teen to do it in the end.

NOoo, do not change your profile picture @thea09, it's the same you always used also in Bubblews, people would not recognize you if you change it.

Aw...hugs...missed you...so glad you are here..you look happy...how are you doing? The last time I came across your post, you had some problems with your eyes I think.

Missed you too Vanny but hardly have time to pop in Mylot. Is everything good with you over tho', you were thinking of adopting I recall. Eyes fixed, can see without glasses now.

@thea09 .. Oh so glad...hugs. :) Adopting, I am unable to...some situation developed kinda..have to be out of it for sure..then only ..by then it would be too late. Actually, an uncle has threatened ..we will see what happens after your dad...kind..that one sentence imports a lot of danger for me or anybody I care for.
