Count nutrition, not calories!!

I feel I am becoming more and more health conscious as days pass. Few months back, i will eat all the junk that came my way, now before eating, my mind automatically scans the nutritional value
For example, i will prefer pure natural protein over a low protein energy bar. I have completely stopped buying the low calorie, low fat, diet variants. And i feel I am doing the right thing. My body, my skin, my hair agree on it!!
So, I have stopped counting calories, and started counting nutrition!!

It is commendable on your part, if you are able to control yourself so as not to indulge in binge or mindless eating. If you take such items which are healthy in terms of their nutritious value then it will be good for your health and skin.

@Sreekala I don't calculate it, i just see that i eat natural and foods rich in nutrients, like i add a variety of veggies in my meal, i eat more fruits, i prefer a sprout sandwich over a chutney sandwich etc. Just try to add something nutritious in my every meal. It's not that i keep a chart of everything i eat :)
