Little did I expect that there are Muslims who are kind heart people towards their own community. Most people, regardless of religion would shun or stare hard at Down Syndrome people, that is the normal reaction. However, today when I was having breakfast at the Mamak ( Indian-Muslim) coffeeshop, I had realized that there are angels out there.
These angels big heart people. There were 3 men sitting opposite my table. As the Down Syndrome , short height man dropped off from the motorbike (the rider who had offered him a FREE ride ), he climbed up the stairs, looked around and walk forward to the table of the 3 men.
Firstly, he shook hands ( bersalam ) with the 3 men. 2 of them were not comfortable with his presence but the older man offered him to sit down, told him to order something to drink and eat. The Down Syndrome man did. However, they did not talk after that. The 3 men continued to casual as usual.
After having his breakfast, the Down Syndrome man, stood up and walked away without saying Goodbye. So, who paid for his breakfast?
I think you should know who is the angel

Everywhere you find angels and everywhere you can find foes. They belong to all creeds, races, cultures and genres. The thing in common is their being angels or foes. You had luck.

Many people are uncomfortable around the Handicapped.I can understand this, I used to be the same way, but then I started working with them and I changed my mind in a hurry. They are not handicapped, they are different. I had six developmentally disabled adults that I supervised in a real job situation. It was the best job I ever had.
