Birthday Celebration Day 1

My son's 13th birthday is on Tuesday August 8th. His dad and I decided to split up how we would celebrate it. Today is 1 of my Saturdays with my son and I made plans with my family to eat out today. We went to the Chateau and had some good Italian food. My son and I had pizza while my parents and brothers had pasta or seafood. It was good because my son does not see them as often as his dad's family. He got cards, gift cards, a board game, puzzle, basketball, and cash. That will help with his birthday party at Chuck E Cheese tomorrow, school supplies, clothes, and stuff he may want. He liked what he got and I am glad I was able to get him a card and gift card. His dad and his girlfriend are going to try to get him a bike. He will also see his dad's family tomorrow after the party. What do others do for kids' birthdays?
