John 9
King James Version (KJV)
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.
2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
Pastor gave a beautiful sermon on this . He explained that how the man who was blind from his birth grew in his faith in the Lord and kept proclaiming his glory before the Pharisees . He(blind man) knew who the true light (Jesus) was . He inherited the light and kept spreading it .Each time the Pharisees asked him about Jesus , there we can see a tremendous growth in his faith in Christ .God used him as an instrument of his glory .
So relating that we are very highly privileged people and even we should possess such faith , as the blind man did even we should confess Christ before the non-believers and spread the light of the gospel to them .May God keep using us as his instruments , for his glory .Let him be glorified .Let others see the true light in us .
