I remember the song, in those years we were a lot more concerned that the young people in our days. I remember the China Syndrome, the fear of a nuclear meltdown. We have seen in more recent years the disasters made by Nuclear Plants.

Yes, a lot has happened in the past years and I am praying that what is going on now will stop but I doubt if it will. I can still be hopeful though.

@velvet53 I fear that it even be worse, as it seems that not all politicians agree to protect the climate.

@sugartoes I am remembering a lot of the old songs where the lyrics fit our time now. Those people knew something that not many knew. It is pretty amazing.

They have some good meaning here. In a way I guess one could think it is funny with the way they worded it at times, like a husband needs no wife, things like that. They do have a good point though.

They did a good job of predicting the future. There are a lot of songs that were written back in those days that has a strong meaning for the future.

That was one of my favorite songs back then. I could not believe that a baby could be made in a test tube and when it happened I immediately thought of that song! They certainly had a vision that would come true, for the most part.

Somehow they knew our future. I listen to it at times and am still amazed at how wise they were.

This one really hits home. Those guys were able to predict the future clear back in 1969. I like Sweet Caroline too.

It was very popular. And if people would listen to it I think it would be popular again today.
