Best Laptop for Multimedia

We think about upgrading my daughter's laptop. She has a Sony limited edition but would want to upgrade to a Macbook. However, we are confuse about considering a Macbook Air or a Macbook Pro. Which is best for multimedia? Otherwise, we can also get some other brands that are also good for editing and graphics. What do you think?

@Cool_Mommy And its quite good as well. If you are planning to buy new one you can look for Asus as well

Go get a better laptop. Don't buy Macbook. Go for Dell. It's ugly but it's hardware is one of the best.
