I want to Quit Smoking

I have been smoking for more than 8 years now. I'm already 35 and I'm starting to feel the impact as time goes by.
My usual new year's resolution is to quit but never had any luck of sustaining it. I will lessen the sticks in just a few weeks and realize that I'm back with the usual number of sticks in a day.
I have tried several items to help me quit like pills, some kind of a band aid, all sorts of candies. I even had a check-up and enrolled myself in a seminar/workshop but never worked.
I know it's all about patience and discipline. Most say "don't say you will quit, just do it!" But it seems that I'm a failure.

Well if you are a failure than so I am I. I have been smoking for many years and know that I need to quit. When I have my mind made up to do it something happens and I am smoking again. They say you have to be ready in order for it to happen and letting things be an excuse isn't right. Well, hopefully some day we can both quit. In the meantime, don't let people get on you about smoking. It only makes matters worse.
