House fire

I have suffered two house fires in my life time, They were both electrical. I wonder sometimes because it seems that we as people cling to our material possesions so much. After two house fires and losing everything it really makes you think about the fact that those are just things. It makes you glad to be alive and that your family is there alive with you. It was just something I was thinking about today.

I have never had a fire. But recently a neighbors house caught on fire and they lost alot of stuff. It was also someone my daughter went to school with and knows. I do not know them personally but we saw the fire and all the damage it caused. The fire department were quick to respond and everyone did get out safely. I sat thinking the whole time about what would happen in our lives if we were to loose everything. It would be very hard for us. Not loosing the stuff. But that we wouldn't have any money to get new clothes, a new place to stay, I don't know what we would do? I am glad your family are all safe!
