Words, can either heal or severe a soul. They can be as sharp as knives that can penetrate the heart, as much as the scars linger and fog the mind.
One main reason why we are asked to breathe, and think before we talk. And review our thoughts before we click.

I like your metaphor.. :) yes. They will heal. But scars remain.

This is true! We should always choose our words carefully when talking to other people, especially our loved ones. Every person is different, and so we won't know how well a person will take the words that we say to them. Mere words can even dissolve the most loving of families.

This is sad.. yes. But communication is vital too. Sometimes silence kills as well. When words are unsaid.

So true. There are also people who try to please others by saying nice things to them but they didn't know that they hurt you.

@Misty08 I'm not sure if they are lying, but whatever a person says trying to please the other, he/she needs to consider other parties as well.
