Yesterday I was gone all day, and working around the house in the evening. Tomorrow will be the same. So I decided to visit myLot first.
I have two bedrooms to get set up yet for company on Thursday.
Work is going well. Today I do not have any extra training, but only the half day of preschool. Tomorrow I will meet a friend at 6 a.m. for coffee, then have a full day of training as well in a more distant town. That is why I am meeting her for breakfast tomorrow, it is in that same town.
It will be nice when school settles down to an even keel, regular hours. I am learning a lot right now, though.
This playground is not at my school but at one that is abandoned, in Cedar Point, Ks.

I sit down to the computer while having breakfast, so usually am here every day... one killing with two stoned birds, and all that.

I have a cup of coffee and sometimes breakfast here. Right now I am trying to get other projects done. That will be more my routine starting in a couple of weeks.

The town has very few people, so they do not use the school. I believe kids still play there some.

When school officially starts I will not be expecting guests and will have a regular schedule to work around. Right now we have erratic lists of meetings and trainings to attend. I will make sure to include myLot once I settle in.

If I do not get here first thing, I may miss it all together. My friends on myLot are very important to me.

The sad thing is that with many rural towns the schools consolidate with bigger ones. Children ride a bus to go to school. I like that this is still available for a play space in a small community.

@GardenGerty Yes, a park always looks good with children and their smiles :)
Every place should have as many as possible :)

We have been having a cool spell. Yes, right now I am cleaning and rearranging at home, and taking trainings and having meetings at school and expecting company.

Many towns cannot afford to run a school on their own, and so either they sell the buildings or they sit vacant. This one is vacant, but the city mows the property and children still like to play on the equipment. Not really creepy. Just empty and lonely.

That playground looks barren but better than our local playground which is rusty and the beams were breaking apart.
