In my case its the motorcycle that has some problem. I think its kind of extreme in doing this but I actually did. I think my inner adventurous genes had made me this again. I was driving my motorcycle and along the way the accelerator cable was detached. I immediately turn off the engine. But I was in the middle of vast plain fields. No one was there to help me. The motor shop are still far away. The question in me is whether to just left the motorcycle and take a passenger vehicle. I choose to go extreme. I kick to start the motorcycle engine and immediately put it in 4th gear of accelarator. When the motorcycle is not running the enginer is not so loud. When I let go, it drive through so I just let it in controlled speed. When it gain momentum the speed is going through, I need to control it by pressing the brakes. When I passed a motor shop I dropped by and bought new cable.

Aside from being adventurous, it was apparently dangerous. Good that you were not on a busy highway.

@rachz_kisses that is the right thing to do so I would not recommend what I did.

@ilocosboy It would be better if you have a shop or service center to call on to in some cases like this. I'm driving a car and during trouble engine or emergencies, I call a service center for a rescue.

Simple things about my motorcycle is no problem to me but when it needs overhauling or the complicated electrical wirings, I let the specialist do their job.
