No water at my house for some time.

I was with no water at my house for around 4 hours. After, the water is coming muddy out of the faucet. And when I turned it on, there were scary sounds and splashes as there was air in the pipes. I decided not to wash the dishes. They can wait until tomorrow although I scoured them. Now I´m mylotting and asking myself whether I should wash my teeth with that water. My common sense says that it is better to just for this once, not wash my teeth at all. What would you do?

After working on water lines it will be a little muddy, run it for a few minutes to see if it clears up, it should.

Happened to our water a few times after the water board turned off the water on our street. I phoned them and they advised me to turn on any tap (the bath one for example) full blast until the water become very clean. I did that and everything was fine afterwards.

I would wait and try again in the morning. Skipping one brushing should not hurt. Who knows what's in the water. Better to be safe than sorry!
