My Follow Up Check Up with my doctor

Australia

Hi guys. For those who had followed and read my post about my Pins and Needles on my hand, here is the update: I went back to doctor on Tuesday and she said my blood test came back normal, but I have a bit high choleseterol. Not too high though but just not the normal range. I have attached the photo of the findings. Cholesterol : 7.1 (normal is 5.5) Triglyceride: 2.0 (normal is 1.5) LDL Cholesterol : 5.2 normal is 3.5) Doctor said I have to change my diet. Eat healthy. I had another blood test, this time is to check for Vitamin B12 and folate, Antinuclear Antibodies. No result yet, so have to go back again in 1-2 weeks. Is this something I should worry about? I could not quite understand the doctor's explanation so next time I go back, my husband will go with me so we would understand it more.

I think it's just the normal. But do try to eat more healthy and green veggies and add eggs in your diet

@angelmels That is good, Cholesterol can be controlled by diet, as long as you have the willpower to stick to it.

i get a feeling it's a vitamin or a mineral. or maybe thyroid? hopefully your next results will lead the doctor closer to the cause. and yes, be sure to bring hubby along to help you understand. he might also ask questions that never occurred to you to ask.

No, it's not thyroid as doctor had already checked that. This was another blood test they have to check.

So no answer about the pins and needles though..strange. Did she check your potassium? Once my son had that pins and needles and his potassium was dangerously low.

I am not sure about the numbers but I am sure with diet change the cholestrol levels will even out. Do you take any multi vitamins? They usually have b12 in them. I didnt realize that one was actually necessary! Keep us posted and take care!
