Have you ever felt that you were being used by your family?

This is how I feel at times. Do not get me wrong, I love my kids, but sometimes I feel that I am being used. I have got to stop loaning money for one because it does not get paid back or at least not all of it which puts me in a bind. Living on a monthly check does not give us any room for that. I am thankful that I have found this site and a few others that I can make a little bit. I know it's not much, But every little bit helps. Well, I am done ranting now. Hope no one is offended.

I think it's great we all have myLot to listen to our rants sometimes. My kids have their share of faults, but they've been pretty good about not taking advantage of us. We've helped them at times, but they've always paid us back. Glad to meet you on myLot!

Not Offended, yeah I stopped loaning money a long time ago and know what, those people re living just fine with my money.

maybe next time give them a much lesser amount so you never run out for your own needs.

I've learned not to loan money. But instead make meals, or order a nights dinner for thise who need food. And what not.

Yes and maybe it depends on what point of view. Children think they are veing used by rheir parents through their own perspective, and we parents think we are being used by our kids.
I once read sticker at the back of car "my kids think of me as ATM machine."

Yes sometimes I felt like that, but it's OK for me ,because I love them very much I will do everything to make them happy and to feel them my worth

I feel so grateful now that I am not fooled by anyone.
Family is a bad word to me.
