David Deporis who is a musician in Oakland passes away at age 40

Just for the record I have never heard of Oakland musical artist David Deporis who passed away at age 40 when he tried to recover a laptop that was stolen by a thief at a café in Oakland on Thursday. Not to second guess the motives of Deporis who attempted to recover his laptop that was stolen by a thief at a café in San Francisco by chasing the thief who entered an auto. Deporis then was dragged down the street as the thief and the driver took off with the stolen laptop. Deporis died in a hospital in Oakland from his injuries. The rule of thumb is that something of value is stolen from you, never attempt to stop the robbers since your material devices you can replace, but not your life. The police in Oakland are looking for the suspects at this time. It is a shame that a musician died in the prime of his life.
