Yes, I used to coon hunt. My husband and I loved it. to me it was peaceful and a lot of fun. I can remember going on a hunt behind a friends house. There were 30 teenagers that showed up that night. A friend of mine and myself were the dog handlers for the night. I started out with a light, however, felt sorry for a boy that came because he did not have one, so I let him use mine. Needless to say, I used my phone as a light. It was a very interesting night. There were a few of the girls that came who decided that they would not go again due to the fact that they stepped in mud. All in all, it was a good night. The only thing I miss about coon hunting is the water that we would have to cross was very cold and some times waist deep. Still, I would go again. for now, I just watch coon hunts online.
