Marsha's Log: Entering Items Into the State Fair

I'm at it again....on several things, missing days at a time of comingin here to MyLot for one. I'm super busy as usual--won't bore you too much with that. I decided to be brave and enter something in to the fair. I went in with the intent of entering my selvage toothbrush rug in the creative uses of selvage section. I found that was a one time thing because they didn't have many entries. So, the rug is now in the rug category under made with recycled materials. I decided to also go ahead and enter the contest of a wall hanging that my quilt guild sponsors. They have been saying at our meetings that they really need more entries. Once home I got to looking through the papers and decided to enter the table runner that I put in my photo today too. I know I will get notes from the judges on things such as the fact that not all my sewing lines are straight, but hey, it's an entry. I then decided to go ahead and also put down to enter in the holiday section this table runner made with yo-yo's that I am making for this special order. So, I have 2 weeks to get the wall hanging done as well as the yo-yo table runner. I figured that this might just be the motivation I really need to get this ladies order done. I have the yo-yo's made, but just not picked it up today to start putting together the 40x19 table runner. I plan to do posts to show all of the items as I am in and out of here. What are you up to....anything crafty?
