Am I the only one who DOESN'T care about the Eclipse?

I saw another post about Monday's eclipse and it got me thinking. . . ya know, I really just don't give a crap about it. That kind of surprises me--being someone with a degree in science and all--but there it is. I haven't rushed off to get my special glasses to view it. I don't know what time it is supposed to happen. I can't even say that I actually would go out of my way to look out the window to notice that anything was happening even if I did know what time it was all going down.
Okay, so the sun and the moon are lining up. Great.

@NJChicaa Comets harder to come by. They are rare because most of the time they don't get bright enough to be seen.

@Dominustheus There was one recently, within the past few years, that was very bright. I remember seeing it for a couple of nights.

I wasn't able to see that. Maybe I was so busy I didn't know some things that are happening.
