Am I the only one who DOESN'T care about the Eclipse?

I saw another post about Monday's eclipse and it got me thinking. . . ya know, I really just don't give a crap about it. That kind of surprises me--being someone with a degree in science and all--but there it is. I haven't rushed off to get my special glasses to view it. I don't know what time it is supposed to happen. I can't even say that I actually would go out of my way to look out the window to notice that anything was happening even if I did know what time it was all going down. Okay, so the sun and the moon are lining up. Great.

I'm sure people will get some great pictures of it but I just don't get all of the hype about it. I think the appearance of comets is way cooler.

@NJChicaa Comets harder to come by. They are rare because most of the time they don't get bright enough to be seen.

@Dominustheus There was one recently, within the past few years, that was very bright. I remember seeing it for a couple of nights.

I used to always care and want to see them but as I grew up i stopped caring and like you don't even know the time for it or anything

Well, I can't condone that attitude at all. Science is EXTREMELY important and like the only truth that we have to confront some of the extremists that we have in the government.
