Wipe, wipe, wipe...

This is one of the great mysteries of life I've been pondering lately.... Why is it that most of the cars/ vehicles that come with rear windshield wipers tend to be ones with a completely vertical rear windshield, while cars with a slanted rear windshield (which accumulate rain more easily, in my experience) usually do not have the rear wiper? I feel like maybe it has more to do with the type if car, usually the ones with rear wipers tend to be a hatchback or similar type trunk.. Maybe it's easier to have the wiper with a hatchback for some reason? All I know is, I'd really love one for my Focus, but it only comes with the hatchback. So irritating on a rainy day!!

Isn't it hard to drive having a rear windshield wiper?

No, you can see better with one. I just had a hard time remembering which knob was for which one, but that was because it was just a rental. I'd love one for my car.
