What if by some miracle, you won a million dollars in lottery? What would you do with it?

Today, I would go out to dinner to celebrate. Then I would need to really think about whT to do with it. I would want to use it wisely. I'm not likely to win though. I simply don't buy lottery tickets.

That is a good way to prevent wasting it. I too don't buy lottery tickets haha. Just an idea that went through my mind.

@JeeyanDee I occasionally think about what I would do with such a large sum of money. Retirement is fast approaching (for my husband) so some extra cash could be beneficial.

@Morleyhunt Yes it could be very beneficial, but if you have investments and have enough savings for retirement, then you have no problem in living a comfortable life.

That's a big money! First of all, I will thank God for the blessing. I will open a business that will help my place in terms of transportation, communication and providing basic goods and services. This will give employment to those people from my place. When they have a job, this will increase their purchasing power.

@JeeyanDee Yes, that is the common reaction when we do something good for the community. I want a simple life. I don't want to be surrounded by bodyguards.

Have you ever thought about running for office? Hahaha. It's really nice that you're not only thinking of yourself but your community as well. Government officials should learn from you my friend.

@ARIES1973 Hahaha. You can still help people despite not working for the government.Donating money on organizations who help the poor and the needy can be an option too.

First, put it in the bank. Then share a portion to those who need it including my family. The rest, I will invest in land banking and real estate. I will leave 20% in the bank. And no I won't be spending anything on personal gain, like cars, houses, etc since I already have them.

I would bank it and carefully plan for the funds to take care of the rest of my life. No careless spending spree.

@peachpurple Diabetes and hypertension, despite having no cure have maintenance medications and there should be no problem on dealing with this as long as proper diet and exercise is met. In regards to tinnitus and irregular heartbeats, I believe these are underlying symptoms of a specific condition, maybe hypertension? Plus, medications to handle these are also available. Stroke on the other hand, can also be dealt with proper medications and diet. I believe what you mean isn't really finding treatment but having the money for their medical needs?

Is there no treatment for them yet?

There is quite a bit I would want to do with it. Pay off debt, do some travelling, maybe buy a house, and definitely put some in savings. If I can give to some charities, I would do that as well. These are just some things that I would want to do.

That i would invest in something that would make profit but in safe way. Even if it's not that big profit. Part of it to buy some things that be useful to me like buy a small new house , but with very good location. Where there's no nosy neighbors where privacy is valued and respected. And a car. Then have a tour or trip to Good place locally and abroad which isn't far but still good to visit for experience.

Jump for joy and then come back down to earth after a while of being on cloud nine and decide what I would do with all of that. That is if it ever happened. Wish it would though.

Why, invest it of course. If I am ever lucky enough to have such a windfall, which is most likely a once in a lifetime thing, I want to keep as much of it as I possibly can.
