I know there is a beware of dog signs, but, what if there was a beware of cat sign?

hahahaha! I had a cat that I needed a sign like that for. He would hiss and growl at anyone who came to my door or even if they started coming up my front walk. If they kept walking by the house he just watched them, but he seemed to know if they were going to turn up my walk and right before they did he'd be in the window or the storm door, standing up and showing his fangs. The mailman would look at him through the door and laugh. I always had the urge to tell him "If he was on the other side of that door you wouldn't be laughing." LOL
That cat wouldn't let anyone come close to me either. More hissing and growling. I think he thought he was a guard dog.

@Hannihar - Ms Hanni - One time I saw a sign on a merchant's door, "Warning - Guard Cat on duty."
One of the more amusing warning signs I saw back in the day was "Warning - Trespassers will be violated."
Commonly seen is a sign that says "Guarded at all times by Smith and Wesson."

Thanks Gus for sharing that. I thought I made it up but apparently someone came before me with a cat warning sign. I have never heard of it anywhere. I just decided to try that one out because I have only see Beware of dog. I think I saw something else about a dog. I think they should have a sign if do not already saying Tread with caution a dog lives here.

i have known of people with that sign and it was true. they usually had a cat that attacked people for coming in. i think most would worry and stay away as much as possible.
