Yep, Another solar eclipse discussion.
It looks weird outside.
I can see the sun still but its only at 50% right now.
This morning mylot was down for me, who knows maybe everyone went out to watch the eclipse and it just went on like dead air.
How is your day?

Day is going fine so far. Almost 8am here in Manila. It rained really hard earlier causing classes to be suspended in most cities.
Followed the eclipse through social media. It would have been better if I could have seen in it person but I'm halfway across the world so no bueno!

@andriaperry I wish I had been able to find the glasses for my own.

Could be beautiful to watch; but use sunglasses for protection.

Went shopping this morning, got some things ready for the mail. Almost lunchtime, but Mom went to sleep in her chair, so I'm going out to see if she's still asleep.
To overcast here to see the sun or much else, even if I had the fancy glasses to look.

@andriaperry No big deal. I didn't have the funky glasses anyway.

It has been interesting here. The whole thing began at 9 AM or so and we had some glasses so we checked it out periodically and watched a lot of it on TV. Our temps dropped about 15 degrees. We are at 99% of totality so it got pretty dark for a few moments.

I remeber seeing one as a child. We used the old camera film strips so we could look at it as it happens. Haha.. some used pails filled with water so they dont have to look at it directly.
