How often do you watch the news?

One of the reasons I came back to mylot after all these years was to get away from the news. I do look at it every day online, only for a little bit, because I think it's important to be aware of what's going on, but I don't want to be as involved with it as I have been. There's too much dishonesty in the press and too much controversy in the country as a whole. It has a negative effect on me. I know I'm not alone in that. I'd rather be here in mylot land - it's a much happier place to be than news land.

I rarely read the news. It only brings pain and sadness.

That is true there is no need of staring in TV in the name news, social media is all you need.

Me too. I usually see news on MPRs facebook page. Cant say I watch the news though.

I have not watched the news on TV for years. I really depend on NPR radio for the best truthful reporting that can be found. I listen to several programs there during the day and the news shows at 5 PM PST.

I used to watch the news on the time and then I discovered I can get our news on the internet where I can understand it better. I watch TV for Netflix and the news online.
