I've always wanted to learn another language, but whenever i start learning them, i get to a point where i have no one to practice it to.
I dont have friends that speak other languages other than Tagalog and English. And so i tend to forget the words that I just learned.
Wouldnt it be nice if everyone speaks only 1 language tho?

It would be convenient but boring. A lot would be lost because you can't express everything in another language.
Try this site if you want to learn and practice another language:
The basic course is free. You only pay if you want to do more exercises.

But dont you think it'll be more peaceful? I think we can get enough thrill / fun from something else. ;-)
Thanks for the link

@obgonzales It would not be more peaceful.
At the moment there are about 6.000 languages in the world. (The number is declining rapidly). Choosing one language over all others would lead to jealousy and fighting. The language which is spoken by most people is Chinese. Yet, it is not a world language because outside China only few people know it. The language which is spoken in most countries as first or second language is English. Next comes Spanish. So, which language to choose?

@MALUSE what i mean to say is, itll be nice if we only have 1 language from the start, not like i want all governments to choose 1 language then force it to everyone. Thatll be silly.
