Do you know that egg shells are nutritious for plants? Egg shells are packed with calcium and protein which helps plants to grow healthier. I had read up some articles on plants natural remedies and found this is the easiest way to save money with home kitchen ingredients. All I have to do is wash the egg shells, dry them under the sun. Then, crush the egg shells in my palm into pieces, sprinkle them on the surface soil of the plants. This makes a perfect compost for the soil, natural calcium . What else do you do with egg shells? We have been using the eggs shells for long time to nourish the soil for the growth of plants. We also add the tea waste along with the egg shells which may work wonderfully.
