I Finallly Found My Way Back!

After being gone from here for months, I have finally made my way back. I wasn't gone by my own decision though. Life has just been a little hectic for me and my family these last couple of months. I have made my way back now though and hope to be able to keep popping in sportatically from time to time as things still haven't completely settled down. As some of you know who I talked with before my husband was getting ready to have surgery. Well, he had it but it didn't go as smooth as planned and we also found more things going wrong for him. So he is still recovering. I am trying to care for him. So I am going to try to pop in when not caring for him , our little one, or not running him for test or to doctors appointments.

@melissa1024 I'm so sorry I kinda know how you are feeling..my husband is in bad shape as well and now something new came up so he has to see a heart specialist on top of everything else that is going on.

@hillhjill Thank you and I am sorry you are having to deal with this as well because I know what you are going through because during my husbands operation his heart stopped so now he has to see a heart specialist. Plus he went into congestive heart failure so now he also has to see a lung doctor. I am glad I met you on here, it is actually a relief to be able to talk with someone else is kind of going through the same thing as I am.

@melissa1024 wow that is horrible that his heart stopped on the table..that is one reason that my husband doctor wants us to see a heart specialist because he is worried that it will stop when make them fall asleep for the surgery..and I'm glad that I met you on here as well..

Everybody has their own personal life to take are of outside of mylot, so it's ok if you can't be here all the time. We understand and you would understand too when one of your mylot friends won't be here for awhile and would come back. Though it might be an object of concern sometimes, because we worry about our friends too.
I'm so sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he recovers soon and be healthy again.

@melissa1024 So true. Been here for a long time too already and even there are months where I can't be here at all, I still get a warm welcome when I come back. Mylot will never abandon us.

@toniganzon Thanks. Yes, I am hoping he will be healthy again soon. It has been a long slow process and he is getting tired of going for tests and to a bunch of doctors, but, I really can't blame him. Yes, when my friends here aren't around for awhile I do become concerned but yes we all understand life happens. I am so glad Mylot is the great community it is. As long as I have been away it seems as if I am picking back up with my friends where we left off and nothing has changed. I can tell you right now that there isn't another community like this one where the members stick together.

@toniganzon Very true. I've been here I think going on about two years and I have had to leave a couple of times but this time was the longest, I have always received a warm welcome upon returning and everyone is so understanding about the situation as to why I had to take a break. I know from past experiences you aren't going to get that with any other community.

@Letranknight2015 No problem. He had to have a colostomy bag several years ago because his intestine ruptured and a hernia came up behind the colostomy and he had to have surgery to repair the hernia. Turns out doing the surgery they found out the hernia was made up of a lot of intestine. Now I know why it was so big. It was as large as a basketball. Plus he had a small bowel blockage. Also during the surgery his heart stopped and he went into congestive heart failure so now we are having to see a heart and lung doctor to see what is going on with that. So we are praying for a full recovery.

@PatZAnthony Exactly, but sometimes it is good therapy just to write to vent and have support on those bad days, if you can find the time to do so!

@spiderdust Atleast I am not alone in this. I am really going to try to be more active. It may not be everyday but atleast every few days. I really miss being here and talking with everyone!

@melissa1024 Sometimes I've tried to at least comment on other people's posts with my phone, but even that was sometimes difficult this summer, and then I often forgot to even look at the site.
