As I'm "only" 25 years old, my childhood clothing was obviously from the 90's and early 00's.. So, much different than most people's here would have been.. But here's my top 5 list anyways..
* A multi-colored shirt with a huge Angelica from the Rugrats on it. I wore this shirt a lot, and even made sure I did my school pictures in it.
* Purple overalls with a small Angelica from the Rugrats on it. Wore these a lot as well, and cried when they no longer fit.
* A black overalled dress, with a white long sleeved shirt that had small red roses all over it. This was my favorite outfit at age 3, and my mom got my pictures done in it.
* The two sweaters my Great-Grandmother knitted for me. Just because they were made by her, and had love in them. And I'm glad I still have them hanging in my closet.
* My pink power rangers tee and short pajama set. My brother had the red ones, and we thought we were SO cool wearing them!

I remember all of my favorite outfits. I was a clothes horse even then. My favorites were a red coat that my grandmother bought from Bonwit Teller, a fancy NYC department store. I wore that warm wool and cashmere coat in kindergarten. My other favorite was a pea green velvet dress with pink embroidery on it. I wore it on dates. I also loved my lavender cable knit crew neck Villager sweater that I wore with a lavender and off white plaid skirt that I bought with my own babysitting money. I could go on and on. Lol!!!!

@DianneN no, they are little kid size. Saving for my children. Least for a picture in each.

I went to Catholic school for 8 yrs elementary so we wore the same thing everyday..uniforms, tho they changed them once in that whole time.
After school I was mostly in rags..I was a rag doll..we were very poor so clothes were just minimal.
Never had anything I can recall at all, except for once when I went to the school picnic..it was a white and green checkered dress with a matching sun hat lol..I was 12 then.

My childhood clothing was from the '80s and early/mid '90s...lots of bright, fluorescent colors, although by second grade I always insisted on wearing black like Darlene from "Roseanne." I had some Punky Brewster, Gumby, and Cabbage Patch shirts when I was really little...and a JEM nightgown. When I was around 4th grade one of my favorite shirts was a Luke Perry t-shirt...not because I liked him, but because the shirt was blue tie-dyed. XD I also had a Lion King t-shirt that I loved in 5th grade.
I wore a lot of dresses when I was a little girl...some that my grandma made for me. I refused to wear jeans until I was around 10. I thought jeans were for "boys" and I would only wear sweatpants...usually with a matching sweatshirt (and of course they were always pink!) My favorite dress was black with a bright floral print skirt and matching collar. My aunt Margaret got me that dress and I loved it. I was sad when it didn't fit anymore, but by that time I was kinda not into wearing dresses anyway.

@Courtlynn Omg, yes, you always had to wear tights with your dresses! And my mom always made me wear shorts underneath because the boys at school would flip your dress up otherwise and flash your panties to everyone (especially in Friday Flip Up Day!) I don't care for wearing dresses (or tights) anymore, either, probably for the same reason.

@Courtlynn Maybe it was a generational thing or it could have also just been a regional thing. Everyone I've ever met around here knew not to wear dresses as a kid on Friday or they were going to get flipped up. Maybe the teachers squashed that practice (and rightfully so!) I rarely wear dresses anymore either, only for special occasions really.

I don't remember wearing this but I still have it. It is a wool dress that my grandmother made for me.
Its in our cedar chest waiting for a granddaughter to pass it down to.
I had my 10 month picture taken wearing it.
I remember having a 1-piece jumpsuit after I had our son. I looked so tall and tiny in that and got so many compliments. It was a light green floral print-it sounds awful, but it was 1990 and it was "in" back then.

That is so much fun! The only clothing I remember (actually I don't remember what it looked like) was a t-shirt that I called my Banana Shirt!
