Good afternoon.The pie was very tasty and good.
Tonight yes I am the cook.This is very rare for me to cook.
But I know Mike will stick his head to see what I am doing.LOL
The menu is baked ziti.I have thing organized.
The tools in my kitchen a must have is A good knife and a good spatula.
Plus others that I have.
I will start this late afternoon to get it going.
Wish me luck.
Baked Ziti anyone.Have you had this ?

@amadeo The cheeses don't bother me yet. I did make a layered zucchini casserole recently and that was pretty good. I don't call it lasagna because, well, it is different from lasagna without the pasta.

It looks awesome Fredo. I am not sure if I have made Baked Ziti but I do make a pasta dish sometimes that is similar. I should make something like that..but right now..I have an absolute ton of spaghetti because my friend went to Costco recently and gave me enough spaghetti and sauce to feed an army..I have at least a six month supply . I had some already so I had to use up what I had first.

I made this a long time ago when my kids were young. I chose this dish because it was so easy to hide vegetable in it! I would blend cooked broccoli, spinach, or other vegetables into the sauce and they never knew the difference. I hope yours turns out lovely and tasty!

@amadeo They loved it and never even know there were vegetables in it. You can't taste the vegetables over the flavor of the tomato sauce and the cheese. When I told them years later when they were adults they laughed and said they never would have guessed.

My granddaughter loves Bakes Ziti. She claims that her dad makes the best. Then one night here on the island I cooked it for her and she went crazy. She said now it is me who makes the best. I have no idea. She is a pasta lover and anything pasta is the best for her.
