Autumn is Here

Autumn is here. It doesn't show up on the calendars yet but it's here. I felt it in the air when I walked to the mailbox this evening. Sounds were muted, shadows were darker. The sky looked further away. It's still hot but soon the weather with cool and the leaves will show their beautiful colors. I'm not ready for fall but it sneaked up on me. And It isn't going away soon.
Actually I like the autumn season but I dread the cold of winter. What's your favorite season?

Summer, I love the hot. I am noticing the trees and colors now, its not even cold enough for all that.

Same feeling here, @RubyHawk. We're having a foggy morning and temperature is falling down. No doubt those are the first signs of a new season arriving. And then, Winter is very long here! So, you may have already guessed, my favourite season is Spring!

Living in this part of CA, we don't really have true seasons it seems . . . I just like it when the weather is somewhere in the mid 70s/80s. I know the heat of summer is just beginning here - we might not have that autumn weather til much later.

Summer. It's always been summer since I was a kid. Summer season is the longest vacation for students here. It's also during the summer season that we have the lenten holidays for employees. It's the season when family would take vacation going to beautiful tourist spots in this country.

Our seasons here is only Wet and Dry season with the dry season from April to sometimes September. But today, it is gloomy the whole day and now raining.
If we also have four seasons like you, I would surely love autumn or fall too. I like the weather cold that's why, because that's what we don't have here. Although, it will be soon a bit cool soon but not as cold as there though when its autumn.

Autumn is absolutely my favorite season. From here in Central Alabama, I will catch a faint sign that Autumn is approaching, but very quickly, the rising temperature reminds me that we are still in the throws of summer. We lived in New York for two years and I liked the weather, much better, there. I despised the big government control, but the scenery and the weather were wonderful.

As for me i prefere dry season because any thing you plan to do, you are able to do it without rain blocking you.
