Titles that are too short are as bad or worse than titles that are long like this one.

If you start a conversation with some one on the street you don't just start it with for instance: "Waz UP?" or "Its that time again." They would look at you, a perfect stranger, like you had lost touch with reality, so to speak. Titles for discussions should be not too long and not too brief. The fact that character counting and key word SEO is basic for internet article writing, this should be a rule of thumb to follow for starting a conversation on myLot. I am no expert but I think it would be a good idea to do more research online for some hints and ideas to start a conversation or discussion on this site. I agree that titles should not be too long or too short. I think it should be reasonably in the middle, contain key words, and be descriptive enough.

Yep. Otherwise it can mislead the reader. To catch the reader's attention first you must write a simple title that lures them into interaction. I know you know that already of course.

I think that titles should be medium length. Some people here write titles longer than their posts.
