Phone Call

There is a law that states a telemarketer can call between 9 AM and 9 PM, not before or after.
I got a call yesterday just before 9 PM. Not sure what they were selling, but it was automated and I hung up. Then last night - 2:53 AM - to be exact, my phone rang. It's that dreaded hour of the night when you don't want to hear the phone because it always signifies an emergency.
I ran for the phone, not even bothering to put my robe on, and picked it up, breathless, expecting the worst. It was the same automated telemarketer. I slammed the phone down, totally angry to be woken so early, and went back to bed fuming.
This morning I looked at my phone to find the off button for the ringer. I'm going to try to remember to turn it off tonight and every night from now on. I don't need that kind of heart pounding stupidity. I do have elderly family members I care about very much. I don't need to be worrying unnecessarily about them when the phone rings at that hour of the night/morning.

Yes last week, there's someone call and I don't recogniced the number, its almost 1am that he called, that time I was angry because I'm in a sleep tight. And some useless call are bothering me.

Oh dear.
That was very rude of them to do that.
For myself I have had calls at that time but not Telemarketers.
I would have banged the phone down in his ear as well.
Hope his or hers ears rang for a long while after.

I get telemarketing calls but not at night. That's not tge time to call anyone , hope the marketing people understand this

I get them all day long but never at night at least up to this point, they are so brazen.

That's good. No sense having those alarming calls for nothing.
