Really happy to see the same nice people again here! As i mentioned in my September post, i went from Moscow to Vienna to participate in a 10-month social project (European Voluntary Service) at the kindergarden of one university there. In July, i returned to Moscow. My work was to act as an educator's assistant 30 hours a week. As i was supposed to be a volunteer, i got no money except 115 euro per month together with absence of paying for a nice single room on the surroundings of Vienna, transportation within the city and food costs 5 days a week. In addition to it, free language courses were provided and the costs for visa and my train tickets were reimbursed. So, i have acquired the greatest life experience while being involved in all the activities with kids, meeting other volunteers and people from different countries throughout the world, taking my personal challenges and achieving my personal goals. That is interesting...kindergarten...what were you teaching them, Russian rhymes? What rhymes do you all have in your schools? English ones I mean...

I taught them origami and some facts about Russia. In our schools students sometimes learn English poems during their English lessons

@MALUSE .. You mean to say that they do not have their own language? Blink...that is interesting. I thought Germans conquered Austria so that is why many knew German like we Indians know a little bit of English. Interesting fact. :)

@MALUSE .. No ..no...I did not mean precisely like British ruled us for over a century..lol. I was referring to Third Reich ...I thought they invaded Austria at the time...my history is bad...I did not know that they did not succeed........I thought they had invaded Poland as well as Austria and France...their attempt at invading Russia was thwarted...and they did try to invade Italy as well as failed. That is how I recall the history...we do not have European history in our books Meluse. Hardly anything. Most of it is what I read off hand...and some from movies. And I don't mind you calling it nonsense..if I am wrong, I am wrong. I need to be corrected. You are knowledgeable and rational person. I will be happy to take any corrections from you. :)

How wonderful and a grand photo. I admire folks who are able to guide children.

Hello stranger! Sounds like you had a fabulous experience. I so wish I had done something similar when I was younger. Is it strange having to adjust back to life back home? Are you planning your next adventure yet??
