I want mylot because I want chatting like texting people and I love to meet strangers at the same time. I'm also here to earn some money. I don't have real job only small time business at home and I have plenty of time to go here. I don't have FB account.

Well, I came across this site when searching for ways to earn money online. I ended up enjoying the interactions so much long after knowing the money was very little. But I have to admit that earning still matters to me on here no matter how low it is.

At this point, I don't really know.
I guess I'm working towards my next $5 payout so I can add the funds to what I'm saving up for a new laptop... but it's really more out of habit at this point. I joined back in 2006, so I'm in the habit of at least lurking on a daily basis to see what's being posted.
I've made some really good friends here but most of them are also friends of mine on Facebook.
Guess it really does boil down to the fact that I get paid for writing here at this point.

Maybe I just admit to myself. Money is one of the main reason. 
Seriously, I was also active in a Filipino forum before without money involve but already gone. I think the admin have problem maintaining the site.

@flippish2014 There's a couple of forums that I'm on that don't pay... found those communities after myLot stopped paying for a couple of years, and stuck around afterwards because I like the sites and the people who post there.
I tried to do that when myLot stopped paying but I couldn't take the number of spammers who showed up basically overnight. It wasn't against the rules in those days, either, so it drove quite a few of us away who might have stayed otherwise.

@flippish2014 Yeah, It is a good to way to practice our English and be comfortable with the language. But of yeah, of course, the compensation is a bonus.

To be honest, I kind of miss being able to talk about whatever I want without thinking too hard about what I post because it's attached to my real name... it's kind of nice to be talking to nice strangers again about anything under the sun here!

@flippish2014 Hahaha, we all know how much of a mob Facebook comments can turn into... I'd rather not stress out about it. Which is sad, because otherwise I love to chat with people!
