1997 Buick Riviera ignition key

May 24, 2006 8:27pm CST
looking for an aftermarket key #10 for my Buick Riviera, anyone know where to get one, G.M has an aftermarket one and they want $25.00 so I know it's only worth $12.50 as we all know dealer mark-ups.

You're really lucky, to replace the key on my car, it costs over $100. I can get cheaper keys elsewhere, but it has to be programmed as it has a transponder and an alarm system. I am working on trying to reprogram it myself, but it's hard because the car that I drive is a new model and they don't make a repair manual for it.

try eBay...they have everything. If you can't find it, just ask one of the sellers.

I strongly agree with the others Walmart or Home Depot should have what you need . I am wondering though why doesn't Auto Zone doesn't have a key maker when they are all about car parts mostly anyhow...and tools.
