There is nothing wrong in trying PTP jobs. You can still earn in PTP jobs but not much. So it is wise not to quit your career (which is outside the internet) just because you want to pursue PTP.
But still, you can do part-time in PTP jobs if you want to earn extra-income. Just stay away from scam sites!

@augusta123 No, but the purchasing power of a dollar does vary from country to country.

I agree with the others. PTP is a good source of additional income but I don't think it'd be enough for your daily needs. Plus, doing this is a great way to kill time. I'm a workaholic and like to keep my hands busy. This helps me a lot especially at night when I'm trying to get some sleep.

Honestly, I don't think it's going to be something that can replace your main source of income. You might be better off investing time in developing skills like writing or web design, stuff like that.
Me? Sure, I joined because yay, I get a few cents for talking. But mostly I joined for the fun--I think of the earnings as just a bonus. :) If you focus too much on earning here, I feel like you'd burn out pretty quickly...
(I'm super new here though, so who knows how long I'll be around. But so far everybody's been super friendly!)

@augusta123 I'm glad you're enjoying the community, too!! I tend to just drop in whenever I have a few minutes to spare.
