If you sit outside and quietly listen you can hear music in the air. You will hear the music of the birds brightly singing.
The cheerful sound of a happily singing bird is sure to make you smile. It makes a wonderful start to the day.
You can almost see the musical notes floating in the air.
Next time you are feeling down, try sitting outside and listen to the birds singing their happy song.

Unfortunately right now there is a neighbor playing awful loud music so I can't hear the birds singing. I love hearing the birds sing when I can though. =)

@HazySue I bet they would be mad if I did the same. I have more respect than that though.

I love to sit outside early in the morning and listen to the birds sing and just enjoy the peacefulness of the day

I enjoy the birdsong in the morning when I go for my walk. It follows me every step of the way.

That one actually works for me. Although one day when I was feeling depressed, the depression was so strong that going outside and listening to the laughter and birds at the park I went rarely worked, not fully but it helped somewhat. I do go outside and walk around and now that depression went away on its own, the sounds make me feel fully relax and calm. I go to the park more often.

I love the music of nature: the streams, the breeze, the insects, and of course, the birds. It's such a respite from the cacophony of modern life. I need to get to a national park to enjoy some of that!

Thanks for the reminder. Yeah, it is nice the subtle stuff that goes on that you don't pay attention to. It is a bit of a bother if you're living in the city with noisy traffic noise happening outside, but I guess you can get a glimpse of it if you pay attention.

When I`m alone, I feel closer to the nature. I often go outside and watch those little creatures flying above me, listen to the hymns of the flowers and feel the embrace of the wind to my soul. I agree with you that when "you are feeling down, try sitting outside" and feel the blessings of nature.
