Keeping a Tithe card

I find it awkward with churches keeping a tithe card for each member for tithing. They record the amount given monthly by each member and the month you can't pay,it's carried forward to the next month. you have to pay the previous month or months tithe before paying for any new month.
In advent of any thing involving or inviting the church, the Tithe card becomes the yard stick to check if you were really an active member and no your participation in other areas like cleaning the church regularly, ministering to people or attending church almost everyday doesn't count.
Do we really need to keep tithe card in churches? and should this be a yard stick or ticket to being a bonafide christian.

Don't even go there or else you'll be crucified. They believe you have no right to ask how the money is spent

I most certainly would not attend a church that kept a card on me. I'm pretty sure the Lord already knows, and he also knows the predicament that some people are in and sometimes they cannot give tithe even if they wanted. But he sees the heart, and he knows. It's also not a sin if you don't give. That's a matter between You and God. It's not like he doesn't know. But any church that keeps tabs like this like it's some sort of bill you need to pay is not a church to be attending. Also what if you only made $100 for that week and the previous week it was $1000, they expect you "pay" $100 this week based on what they know from last week? Yeah, this doesn't sound like a church to me, but that's just me.

@augusta123 I do think tithing is biblical after all it did say to honor the Lord with 10% (Malachi 3:10)

@augusta123 to me personally it is not, because I feel we can give in other ways. I know many believe it is a sin. But each to his and her own, I say.
