well, where should I begin from? It was hard, but we did and still do it. I am 17 years old, the edelst at home, and in the last two weeks my life give me something huge to deal with. I can not complain, there are so many people that passing throw much harder things, but to my routine it was not so easy... two weeks ago the nightmare began, my mom start feeling bad, lots of nausea and dizziness in power that makes you close to your bed.. like a little brother to the famous "vertigo" but with twist- neck ache that make all the issuee even worst. it start two weeks ago and the pain continue..my mom had vertigo before 3 years and 5 months ago had something simillar but not vertigo...more like hard migraine...it always come to visit and pass just untill it comes back.,,her pain never gone. why I share it with you? because here my "pain" start. my mom was all that time in the bed and I took all the house issuees to my hands. I organize and clean the house every day nearly during the whole day (not joking!), I have 2 little brothers that known as doing troubles so as you guess...it was hard. to organize, cook and bake for big family , to be there to each child (we are 7 at home...with parents) and to minde my baby sister that need to eat each 3 hours (that passing very fast ) , to make shower and I think you guess it was not super easy... I can not complain, I have parents, sisters and brothers, we all fine and our health is well. I have everything, but it was something that I do not think would come in the end of the summer vacation, when your mind just thinking of avoiding your time in the better way but you stay at home when your friend having fun... I hope my mom feel better soon, its hard to replace her. the dr said there is no madicine and it could be for 3 weeks but I hope she will be well. I hope you all having a good day and remember :" first health, the other things are bonus". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ by the way I sorry if my English not good enough, I used to speak Herbrew and in that time of vacation I nearly forgot my English lessons at school...

I know this must be very hard for you. Seventeen is not the age to have to be dealt such unhappiness. You're doing a good job, stepping up to help your family in a time of crisis. If you're religious, you leave it in God's hands and do the best you can. If you aren't religious, you just do the best you can. I'm sorry hardship has befallen you. Did the doctor have a name for what ails your mother? I believe in prayer so I will pray for your mother and for you and your family.

@teenspirit You're welcome. You are certainly a child to be proud of! Your parents must be wonderful people, you are a reflection of that. Stay strong and believe that your mother will get well. I hope for a speedy recovery for her.

Sounds like you have a lot of responsibility around the house right now. I can see how that would be stressful. I am sure your family appreciates your help. Best wishes to a quick recovery for your mom.

I know it's not easy for you, but you're doing a wonderful job taking care of the family while your mom is not well. I hope she feels better soon. And I hope you will have more time for yourself when she recovers.
