No, it told me who the person was. I checked and they are here and active. I am simply blocked from responding to them.

Sree sometime the glitch may makes like this, we cant' say whether they blocked or it is happened because of the software problem.

That is true, Sreekala, but it is also true that the person can block me and then make responses on any of my discussions and I won't be able to read what they've said, although everyone else on myLot can read what they said. (I can read what the person said on their profile, if I go there and follow everything they've said on myLot through their "Activities" tab.) When that happens, it appears to everyone else on the site that I am ignoring the person, for some reason. So, I am the one who appears to be rude, instead of the person who has blocked me.

@DaddyEvil You could send me a private message. if you are sure there's nothing bad between the two of you, it could be an accidental blocking. A lot like that has happened in here already. And that person wouldn't know until somebody informs him or her.

I'm not putting their name out like that, Toni. That wouldn't be right. They may have had a good reason to block me. IDK.

@pgntwo Oh, I see... that does make sense, in a weird sort of way... I decided to give up on taking the trip to the Pegasus Galaxy... vanny refuses to understand about artificial gravity or beaming technology just because she believes it will never happen (actually, she claims it will not happen for two or three thousand years.) even though I have shown her artificial gravity has been proven to exist and humans use it now. I also sent her a link that shows scientists use a type of beaming technology now to send things around the world via the internet. She still claims it doesn't and won't exist. *sigh!* She just wants to fight about it. I am tired of fighting about it.

@DaddyEvil Because you are evil. But they should be logical with themselves and do not respond to your discussions. Maybe this person blocked you by error and does not realize it ? Something like "Responding to this discussion will unblock this member" would be nice.

Yes, Top... I wish Bugs would finally get around to fixing the bug... It took me by surprise. I didn't realize that person had blocked me. I have no clue why they blocked me, either.

@topffer Yes, I am evil, but I wish people would remember who they blocked so they don't respond to my discussions. It is possible they believe they have a good reason for blocking me, too.

I've been away from the social club for a while. Months. I was dropping by from time to time to read posts without posting until yesterday when I read an interesting post that inspired me to write a long comment. Immediately, I was attacked for what I wrote. We must be careful of what we write here, yes? Not much has changed in this world and these things continue to happen.. so what else is new?

I don't think anyone plagiarized my post, Dearheart. I told you about this problem on a post you wrote, then decided to write a post complaining that this is still a problem here. I was able to go to the person's profile and read the response they left on my discussion there. There are now four people who have blocked me. IDK why some blocked me, but I know one person blocked me because I was talking to someone else on their post. *shrug!* Apparently, I am not the only person he has done that to, either.

People who use cell phones to interact here face many problems, since the cell phone screen is not large enough for comfortable myLotting, but that is their own problem, not ours. This problem is ours because it allows someone who blocked us to continue to talk on our discussions but we can't stop them. I can't delete the response that person made and I cannot refute any false allegations they may make about me in the future, either.

Hmmm... are you asking for someone to block you, Dearheart? (If you are, you need to keep looking...) I won't block you! That's a promise!

I have had it happen before, pony... Usually it is one guy who can't remember that he blocked me... I finally found out he blocked me because I agreed with someone he was fighting with, not for anything I've said to him... I just wish people who block me would remember they've blocked me so they don't respond on my discussions.

I don't have a choice but to ignore them. I can't respond or reply to their comment. I can't send them a message about it, either.

I suppose you could look at this in that light, Darcy... Or you can see the possibility that the person could attack me on my own post without fear I may retaliate in any way, including deleting any defamatory comments they may make about me. I do not see this problem the same way you do. There are people on this site I refuse to speak to/with because they are not nice. I haven't blocked them because they may realize that rude comments on my discussions are not tolerated, so they learn to speak nicely to people on my discussions or know their comments will be deleted. A response from anyone on our discussions is only worth roughly 1/10 of a penny, not several pennies. (Just giving you information.)
