Have you had any experience where you kept failing at something and then something just clicked?

So when hearing people's advice on how to deal with failure, one idea that I came across is that sometimes if you just keep going, things just start working out and you get what you want (or something even better).
Has this happened to you? If so, what was it or what was your experience like?

Things like that happen to me pretty often..but one thing I remember was I could never roll my r's in Spanish or French class in HS, but then I just did it..after I was out of that class of course!

Haha, that's interesting. Yeah, sometimes getting away from the situation gives you time to relook what you were doing and do it better. There's also less pressure and perhaps more time to practice on your own terms. Thanks for sharing your experience ^_^

My second year in high-school, I used to fail in the exams. The prefect used to make fun of me and call me stupid everyday. I was told by other students that she had always been number one since the first year and that is why she believed everyone else was below her.
I had transferred there in the second year so I did not know anyone very well. Despite the prefect looking down on me for almost the entire year, I continued studying and did my best to improve. The following year which was the third year in high-school, I became number one and my new friend whom I met in the school when we were both new, became number two. The prefect got to number 3 and she never called me stupid again. Actually, she stopped looking down on other members of the class. Some of my classmates started studying more because they started believing that anyone who was at the bottom could also be at the top. They felt so inspired by my improvement and I was happy in return.
