Diversity is basically just a fancy, more politically correct, way of saying the word “different”. In today’s rapidly changing workplace leaders in business need to be well educated in the differences of the many people they will encounter. Successful managers should be knowledgeable to the values, beliefs, and work ethics of various cultures. Thanks to continued advances in technology today’s marketplace is fiercely competitive in a vastly global landscape. That's it, that's a synopsis of the topic I chose for my Capstone project. I'm actually a little excited and nervous at the same time. I have to do a 25-page research paper, a 25-page PowerPoint Presentation and an Annotated Bibliography for this class. That's a lot of writing, whewwwww!! I am currently in my last semester, last class before earning my Bachelor's Degree in Business/Organizational Management. The Capstone is basically a recap of the course work I have completed so far. So, let me apologize ahead of time because for the next 13 weeks I will be consumed with this project and most likely will be sharing my frustration and progress with everyone. I would also welcome any thoughts that you may have on my topic. Feeling Motivated....
