Say A Little Prayer For Me

As most of you know I have been going through a lot lately with the car accident and what has been taking place since then. I need to quit smoking among other things like giving up caffiene and things like that. If it was just my issues that I was dealing with I could handle it pretty good.But there other things going on in my life that I have not posted about yet. The main one is that my oldest son has to have three major back surgeries soon. I have to be in good enough health to go down to their place an take care of their dog plus many other things. I need prayers to help me get through all of this. I don't ask for help from anyone very often but this is important., I feel so lost tight now.

As you have osteoporosis you should cut on caffeine, because it destroys calcium in the bones. My best wishes to your son. I hope everything is going fine and he will be well soon.

Sounds like you have so many concerns and it's bothering you. I pray that you can handle all your problems. I'm problematic too these past few months but thank God I was able to survive and feel much better now.

Thank you, HappyLady. It is hard but his surgeries are very important. If he doesn't get them done soon he may never walk again. That would tear me up. I feel that my problems are minor compared to his but I also know that I have to get better so I can be there for him.

The first is a kind and caring smile like that of a life long friend. The second thing that I have to offer to you is words of inspiration. There are many obstacles in life's path and even more reasons to doubt yourself. It is human nature to dwell on the negative points of life more than the positive. The reason being that we tend to be dumbed down by or circumstances letting or fears run over our better judgement. We know right from wrong yet we still do most of the wrong things. Fear is a powerful adversary that works with the Ego. Combined they have no limits as to how far down in life that they can take you if you let them. “The depth of darkness to which you can descend and still live is an exact measure of the height to which you can aspire to reach.” Know that you are not alone in your journey. I know that at times it may seem that way and life's obstacles appear to be insurmountable. However you have but to remember that your life if full of joyful moments. It is those moments that you must draw the strength from to over come any and all of life's obstacles. Remember the overwhelming joy of the mercurial of life that you embraced for the first time as a mother. There is nothing in this world more powerful than a mother's love. This is my prayer for you. May you have the knowledge to see your way through all of life's obstacles. The wisdom to apply that knowledge. To have an open heart filled with, patience and understanding, an unbreakable will, but most of all a shoulder to rest you weary head upon and a helping hand to lift you up when life has worn you down. I will leave you with these thoughts: "The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. You have brought tears to my eyes, good tears. You don't even know me but you took your time to send me a beautiful and caring prayer. I cherish your words and you. You have given me a lot to think about. I appreciate what you have done here. I will be saving this so that I can read it over and over when I feel that I am getting overwhelmed.
