Life is like a roller coaster ride, sometimes you're on top, sometimes you're at the bottom. There are also problems we face that could either make or break us, there are also some that are just easy to handle. With this in mind, do you enjoy having challenges in your life, or you prefer having it easy and steady going?

Easy and steady is something that I find too boring. When there's no challenge I tend to become lazy and I can't function well. I need challenges to be functional. And I love it.

@JeeyanDee Too much of everything is. It all depends on how we take things and organize our lives sometimes. There are some things that we think is a challenge but in truth it isn't.

I agree, life without hardships could be monotonous, but I would find it nice to have a bit of an easy life every now and then. Too much challenges could be a bit too taxing too.

@toniganzon Yeah, just like what I always say, it really is based on our perception of things.

I don't enjoy the challenges in my life because I mostly handle them alone and it gets so hard and longer to recover. I would like if it were smooth and steady. :)

Have you tried asking help or support from people who love you? Challenges could be a way of us being stronger too. Without them, I believe we'll be weak and very prone to vulnerability, but like what I've said earlier, it really is a matter of perception.

@mildredtabitha I'm not really sure about having those older people dealing with it better than the younger ones. I believe it's all about being mature when faceing these kind scenarios, and maturity is not based on age. I know a lot of old people who are still immature up to this date.

@JeeyanDee I will do that. Apart from perception I think experienced people would welcome more challenges than the young and inexperienced.

Challenges may be enjoyable or pleasurable. If they are challenged, just push forward because at the end of the day, you will reap the fruits of your labor.

Yes of course I agree, but wouldn't it be nice to have it easy once in a while?

I agree, it's the thrill of the unknown that makes life fun. A life with out challenges could be quite monotonous, thus being boring.

Just keep going and keep on fighting for your dreams, you'll eventually see it all through. Quitters never win, and winners never quit after all.

Really? I used to be like that too, afraid of taking risks, I would prefer life of monotony. It was because I had an extreme fear of failing. As the years went by though, learned a lot in life and matured, I realized that there really is no such thing as failure. It really is just based on how you perceive things. Now, I don't see failure, I only see ways that don't work, things that are not meant for me, or lessons to be learned. For me, no matter what I do, I'm still a winner. It's all about seeing it half full than half empty way of thinking. How much have I regretted all those opportunities I wasted just because I was afraid of taking risks. I believe that nothing great can be achieved without risking. That is just me though, and if you believe the opposite, I still respect you. I hope that at the least, you'd try and consider my points. We only live once after all.

That is the brave way to go, facing things that you are fear or are afraid of.
