Shocked! This morning, I received a text message from my boss and He's asking some personal info about me. I'm so curious why he's asking until he said that she loves me. Haha, I can't believe it.

Tread carefully. Sometimes these things take unexpected twists and turns. Use wisdom.

@pitsop. Hi, Thank you so much. I will put that in mind. And yeah, I don't know what is his intention of doing so.

I would avoid that situation all together. It can lead for a lot of complication and if things go wrong you could end of losing your job.

@shantalclay it is hard to know what his intentions really are so best just to avoid the situation.

That is what I am thinking and I don't like that to happen. I was in the company to work and not to ruin it. Unless he truly have a good intention.

Did he give you any hints before that something like this is coming?

We talk often but he never give me hints that he will court me. I don't know. It just happened. I didn't expect it. Now, I don't even know how to deal with him when we are at work.

He is single with a daughter. It's already 6 months now since I work in the company. So, I don't totally know him personally or the way he deal with girls.

@hereandthere I will surely do that, but for now, as the others said, I will try to avoid him if it's not for the business.

@shantalclay If it were me, I would look for another job. Here that would be considered workplace harassment and you could bring charges against such a person. I don't know what the laws are in your country for such things. I can imagine is it awkward and yes, annoying. Keep your professional attitude, and find another job.

@just4him That is a very good idea, Valerie. However, I did not finish my contract here yet. And I need a certificate of employment as a great qualification for finding another job and that can only give by my employer if I followed my contract. Here in the Philippines, it's very hard to find a job if you are out of a working experience and that is my problem because this is my first job.

Yes, Valerie. It's really awkward at the same time annoying on my part because I just never expect it, or he was putting me into test how professional I am.What do you think?

Your work will be at stake if you continue replying to his messsages. If you are both single, then go ahead. If not, tell him to stop that behavior.

Why did you say so? I don't think promotion has nothing to do with it because I don't even have a year working with them.

@heyheyla That I don't know. And that is unfair to the other employees because when it comes to promotions, there are many employees who are ahead of me and much better.
