just dropping in/still busy

Sorry for my leave of absence but as I've mentioned previously my life has been rather busy lately. I still have a ton of stuff going on but since it's early and my son is busy playing on his tablet I have a few free moments. I normally go to church on Sundays but with my son meeting his sister tomorrow and with the stomach bug going around I didn't want to risk my son getting sick before hand and at church, he is around kids and of course, they swap germs. Him meeting his sister is a big even for him and I'd rather him get to do it and not be stuck at home with the stomach bug. Germs are unavoidable and as soon as he goes back to school Tuesday he'll probably catch something but I'd rather delay it for a little longer especially as he's just getting over a cold and again I'd like him to get to meet his sister. Hopefully, he can keep from getting sick for the next couple of weeks but I won't hold my breath. Next weekend we have plans too, as Saturday we are supposed to go to the local arts festival where he'll get to do free crafts and then Sunday we are supposed to go to church and then to the neighboring town where we'll take him to see the mill and ride the canal boat. The mill is part of my childhood as we went there every weekend when I was a kid because my brother used to help out on the ferry boat which is in the same big park as the mill. I loved going to the mill I'd go up the stairs and watch from the very top as they'd open the gates for the canal. It was always fun for me. Life is crazy hectic lately but I've been enjoying it. My husband and I seem to be better than ever even if I've on occasion wanted to take off my ring and throw it at his head in anger, I have resisted this urge. We're not perfect and we still argue. Honestly, we have argued more over a board game than anything lol. We are both competitive but my husband is a horrible loser. He has promised me to be nicer the next time we play but we'll see. Really though we've been pretty good. Marriage has seemed to bring us a little closer at least, which isn't something I expected as we have been together for so long but it's a welcome surprise.

Risk lol, I'm starting to think they call it that because you risk your relationships playing it.

Life can be very hectic indeed. Hope your husband is nicer next time you play. Women are so good at winning. Hehe

It can be. I hope so too, I have talked to Stacy earlier and she gave me the idea of purposely ruining the game, and I laughed thinking "that's not a bad idea, that will show him." I also have an odd sense of humor. I do win at most games we play, I think it's starting to get to him lol but I don't throw a tantrum when I lose but I am competitive and I play to win. He has promised me to be a better sport if I continue to play Risk with him but we'll see.

@celticeagle It is, and it's something I'm teaching my son who is a lot like his father.

Good luck meeting your stepdaughter later. I hope that goes well. Hmm...so maybe if my guy and I got married it'd bring us closer together (and I'd get Sims packs whenever we fight)? XD I do sometimes wonder if there's something we're missing by not being married, even if we have been together for 10 years.

Thanks, I'm starting to get around now. I have to get a shower real quick and get Brayland around. Maybe, I didn't think there'd be anything remotely different but in a weird way something has changed and I can't describe it and it's not a big change either. It's mostly the same but it's also a little different and a little better. Maybe he'll get you those sims packs you never know lol.

Living a busy real life as you do always takes precedence over online passing the time.

I agree, and that's why I've not been on here much. I use some of my spare time to try and stop in but it's limited.
