kids as wealth

i have heard people say that the number of kids you haves matches your wealth. what do you think i.e many children means you are wealthier

It depends on how you are measuring wealth. If you are measuring wealth by love and happiness that could be true. If you are just purely measuring it by monetary value then it is not true.

I think it actually depends on your living conditions and living costs spent per kid.

have been trying to understand and I don't coz it seems to be the opposite. rich guys having few kids than the poor

@queennck I guess it really depends. Some rich people have multiple wives and many kids too. We cannot generalize this.

Why do people in poor countries have many more children than people in rich countries?

I haven't even gotten married , but generally kids are usually a gift from God, they are family's jewels

I think it means that when parents invest on a child's education, the child will grow up and inturn help the parents. So many children equals more wealth.

Yes if you have good number of children and you are able to cater, educate as well be able to train them very well and each of one of them likely to grow up to be a responsible person, then you are really likely to be rich but if you are not able to do this you will suffer a lot
