Lightning strikes twice

I'm so frustrated. Our landline and internet aren't working again - down since Wednesday. That's about nine days out of the last 18 so I've been forced to take my kindle out looking for free WiFi just to keep contact with my life online. Typing with this thing is really slow though so I'll keep this short. Hope to be back soon.

i was out of it for a while earlier this year, i know it is hard but I just stayed of line, and found other things to do. Good luck

@CookieMonster46 The trouble is that I haven't been able to get online from home either. I finally bought an alternate "modem" that doesn't need my ADSL line, but it seems to be incompatible with my desktop computer.

@CookieMonster46 I finally replaced my dongle with one that actually works but the cost of internet access using it is so much higher than what I'm used to that I really need to be very careful about what I do online at the moment.

They're busy updating our area to fibre internet and the workers keep damaging the phone cables. This kind of problem wasn't normal before that.

Thanks @maezee . I've managed to buy an alternate method of connecting to the internet but it's quite price and seems incompatible with my desktop computer so I may have to return it. No luck with the phone so far and it's been over a week now.

Thanks@LadyDuck . My phone is tough to manage with its tiny buttons but the touchscreen is just as bad. Thank goodness for its word suggestions.

I'm not sure whether it has Bluetooth but I'll see if some kind of keyboard is available because I'm really struggling. Thanks for the suggestion @thislittlepennyearns .

I'd go bezurk if that happened to me, I'm addicted to the internet. I hope they fix all that for you really soon.
