Yes. My mom is the greatest cook of all time. She cooks just right. What I love from the dishes that she cooks is chopsuey because the vegetables are not overcook and it is crunchy... now it makes my mouth melt... lol

Nope, my mum cant cook, and she knows and openly admits it. Although my sister and her husband hate it, it one brother to move away, and my other brother and I would prefer to starve than to visit for a meal.
Unless she is making spaghetti with a nice tomato sauce and meat mixture mixed together or her curried chicken rice, they are yummy. Everything else the dogs wont even touch.
Her cooking was an inspiration to my two brothers and I though, my bro's are now che'f and I have worked in cafe's, restaurants, bakeries etc to make sure I can learn as much as possible. Im just as qualified as my brothers and when we get together we fight over who's cooking. I dont like one of my brothers cooking since he made an awful sweet and sour pork one night so I take over cooking if he starts it.

I missed my mom's cooking. She was a great cook and being in Singapore where it's multi-racial society, she was able to dish out different types of food ranging from traditional chinese food to indian curry, or malay nasi padang, etc. Real great! Well, I lost her in 1997 and too bad....we didn't quite learn from her and now, we have to go out and eat when we want all the different variety of food.

definitely. shes the best. we happen to own a mini restaurant at our place and the whole community loves her cooking. A special favorite of mine is "adobong sitaw" its a filipino dish made of basically string beans and soysauce. its the BEsT!!

i haven't had my mothers cooking in years, but i do love my mother in law's cooking! she makes the best thanksgiving dinner ever! it's very traditional, with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and cranberry sauce. i look forward to it all year! and i eat as much of the left overs as i can get my hands on!
